RSS Feeds
Put simply, RSS Feeds are a way of keeping up to date with updates from your favourite websites easily and effectively.
RSS, or Really Simply Syndication, is a technology employed on hundreds of websites (including the BBC Website, for example) that allows the public to receive updates in the form of email-like messages whenever the website is updated.
In order to subscribe to RSS Feeds, you will need to use a separate program called a News Reader. These can be downloaded as programs to your computer (for example, a program called RSS Owl) or used online (such as Google Reader, a free service from Google).
