Cannock Chase Compact

The 13th Annual General Meeting of Chase CVS was held at St Peter's Church Hall, Hednesford on 20th November 2009.
Guest speaker, Steve Hopkins, External Relations Manager for Staffordshire County Council, gave a presentation on the refreshed 'Staffordshire Compact'.
The new format was formally adopted by Cannock Chase District on the day, with Neil Stanley, Chair of the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) signing the document on behalf of the public sector, whilst Kent Parson, Chief Officer for Chase CVS, signed on behalf of the third sector.
The objectives of the Compact are to:

demonstrate the mutual benefits of the third sector and public sector organisations working together

allow the third sector to work to their strengths

Enable third sector organisations to become service providers

improve funding and commissioning
