Local transport scheme and volunteering opportunities

The Community Transport Scheme operates from our Rugeley office. Helping to resolve mobility problems for individuals without transportation of their own. This service could help. (a minimal charge may apply) - now covering the Cannock Chase area as well as Rugeley.

Chase CVS operate a Community Transport Scheme covering the Cannock Chase District. The aim of the scheme is to provide individuals, without access to their own transport and who are experiencing difficulties with mobility, a service that enables them to attend Medical appointments etc. The service is provided on a voluntary basis and customers pay a minimal cost towards expenses.

Volunteer Drivers Urgently Required

To become a volunteer driver for the projecty ou will need a full, clean UK Driving Licence. All out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed. Please note: because of the nature of this service, where volunteers may be in contact with vulnerable adults, prospective volunteers will be required to have a CRB check carried out before participation is permissible.
