Volunteer Training Opportunities

Chase CVS strives to provide all of its members with the knowledge and tools required to run fantastic organisations and to be valued members of volunteer or charity groups.

We offer a full range of training sessions and workshops, with something suitable for all organisations, companies, charities and individuals.

Some examples of training courses we deliver are:

  • Human Resources
  • Business Planning
  • Funding
  • Organising Local Events
  • Safeguarding and DBS
  • Volunteer Management
  • Trustee Roles and Responsibilities
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Facilities Management

This is not the full list of our courses. In addition to this we provide Internships and training through our contacts at smarter lead generation.  If you don’t see anything listed above that suits your requirements, please contact our team. We have many more courses not listed, plus we can design customised courses tailored to your organisation’s needs. Although our main focus is on volunteering and charity work, we also host training at our facilities for not-for-profit businesses.

Travel

Although we host most of our training courses at the Chase CVS headquarters, we also have links with third training providers. This means that some training courses will require travel to other areas. We would ask that anyone who drives and has access to a car to enter our lift share scheme. This will help those without vehicles to attend the training and also cuts down on co2 emissions from several cars making the same journey.

Also, many of the volunteer locations are in other areas so anyone who is looking to take part in various voluntary schemes, but cannot drive, we encourage you to look into learning.
